SUSTAINABILITY & TECHNOLOGY DESIGN:​

As a firm, Fagan Design is very committed to sustainable design and technology development. In 2016 Chris Fagan co-founded a marine technology company named PowerDocks LLC. The company designed and built the world's first commercially available line of solar electric dock units, under the product name "Blue Isles™". The floating micro-grid platforms were constructed to collect, store and redistribute renewable energy. They could be used to generate significant amounts of off-grid power for marinas, ports, moorings and robotic systems. In 2021 Chris Fagan sold PowerDocks LLC. ​
