The studio's practice is specifically focused on creating designs for new custom homes, renovations and interior design for resturants. Fagan Design will frequently act as an owner's representative throughout the design, permitting and build phases of a project. This allows the studio the ability to manage the overall experience and ensure the highest quality results.
Fagan Design works to build development teams for each unique project type. This includes services, from Engineerings, Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects and various other design trades. For example, where professional architectural services are required, design work is provided in collaboration with or under the responsible control of licensed architects. On projects that require Civil, Strctural or MEP Engineering, Fagan Design will work with the clients to assemble a full development team.
Fagan Design, was established by Chris Fagan in 2008, is a creative consulting studio based in Newport, Rhode Island. Over the years the studio has worked across various mediums, including designs for residential building, sustainable technology development, and art direction for films. Currently this studio is focused on residential designs for custom homes and renovations. Interior design for hospitality spaces. Fagan Design also work on a great deal of historic preservation and outdoor living projects.

ABOUT CHRIS FAGAN
Chris Fagan is an American designer and art director. Over the course of his career, he has designed and built dozens of buildings throughout Southern New England. In that time, his projects have won notable design awards and been featured in numerous publications. He is an Associate Member of the (AIA) American Institute of Architects.
For the past 10+ years Chris has worked in the film industry, as a professional set designer and art director for feature films and television. His credited film design work can be seen on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HGTV and Disney. (CHRIS FAGAN IMDB) He is a member of the United Scenic Artists Local USA 829 IATSE and the unions Innovation and Technology Committee.
His body of design work extends across a variety of mediums including residential design, film design and technology development. With over 20+ years of professional design experience, Chris is able to lead a large scale design team or provide support on a unique project.
Chris is an alumni of Skidmore College where he earned undergraduate degrees in both Studio Art and Anthropology. He also holds a Masters degree in Urban Design and Planning from the City University of New York, City College.
