ABOUT CHRIS FAGAN:
Chris Fagan is an American designer that works across multiple digital mediums. His work includes residential and commercial architecture, scenic set designs and marine technology development. Chris is an alumni of Skidmore College where he earned undergraduate degrees in both Studio Art and Anthropology. He then went on to study architectural drafting at Boston Architectural College. After that, he was awarded a Masters degree in Urban Design and Planning from the City University of New York, City College.
In 2008 Chris established FDBS - "Fagan Design Build Studio Inc" to provide Architectural Design and Construction Management services. Today the company has grown to encompass a dynamic group of designers and consultants. As an architecture studio, FDBS focuses on both residential, commercial and historic projects through out New England.
In addition to architectural design work, Chris also has developed a presence in the film industry working as a set designer and art director. His work can be seen in a number of upcoming films including ‘Beyond Skyline’, ‘Altar Rock’ and most notably, ‘The Discovery’. Chris is a member of USA Local 829 union, of Scenic Design Professionals.

In the Spring of 2016, Chris partnered with Anthony Baro of E2Sol, to establish an innovative new marine tech company, ‘PowerDocks LLC’. The focus of this venture is to design and develop a series of floating solar charging platforms for marine environments. These ‘Blue Isles’ units can be used for charging a variety of products including electric propulsion engines, underwater robotics and drones. The company is also exploring how these units can be used to create floating micro-grids for sustainable power generation. PowerDocks launched its first prototype in Newport harbor during the summer of 2017. It has gone on win Innovation awards in the United States and Europe.
